At present, the bar code printer industry is more widely used in self-adhesive labels. Self-adhesive label is composed of three parts: release paper, face paper and adhesive as the glue of the two. Release paper is commonly known as "base paper", the surface is oily, and the base paper has an isolation effect on the adhesive, so it is used as the attachment body of the face paper to ensure that the face paper can be easily peeled off from the base paper, also known as release paper.
The base paper is divided into ordinary base paper and GLASSINE base paper. The ordinary base paper is rough, thick, yellow, white and so on according to its color. The self-adhesive base paper commonly used in the general printing industry is economic yellow base paper. GLASSINE bottom paper is dense, uniform, has good internal strength and light transmittance, is a common material for making bar code labels. Its common colors are blue and white. We usually talk about label paper for coated paper, thermal paper and so on, refers to face paper. Face paper is the carrier of label printing content. According to its material, it can be classified into coated paper, thermal paper, PET, PVC and so on. The back of the face paper is coated with adhesive, which on the one hand ensures the moderate adhesion of the base paper and the face paper, on the other hand, ensures that the face paper is peeled off, and can have strong adhesion with the paste.
